Notable Residents Credits & Sources

The Hollis Preservation Association’s Notable Residents project highlights people whose lives, work, or family histories connect to Hollis, Queens.

This page gathers research sources, image credits, video credits, and local testimony used in preparing the individual biography pages.

Research & Credit Notes

Sources are maintained here so each article can remain readable while still preserving transparency about the research, credits, and community memory behind the project.

Some entries are supported by published sources such as interviews, obituaries, institutional biographies, newspaper articles, archives, or official websites. Others may include local testimony or community memory, especially where residents have helped identify a Hollis connection that still needs further documentation.
